About the Program

The James L. Gray Youth Tennis Outreach Program fosters goodwill, sportsmanship and the opportunity for self-development through the promotion of the game of tennis.

The program began in 2006 and became a registered not-for-profit Ontario Corporation in January 2008.

The objectives of the program are:

  • To foster goodwill, sportsmanship, and the opportunity for self-development through the promotion of the game of tennis throughout the Region of Peel and adjacent Regions.
  • To provide professional instruction to children as well as training to teachers in the basics of the game of tennis within schools.
  • To arrange matches and competitions; establish and grant prizes, awards and distinctions.

Grey Foundation Teams Up with Tennis Pathways

 On April 7th 2010, the Wendy Gray Foundation welcomed the Tennis Pathways Program into their 2010 spring tennis season by launching a variety of school tennis sessions throughout the West Central Region. The James L. Gray Youth Tennis Outreach Program fosters goodwill, sportsmanship and the opportunity for self development through the promotion of the game of tennis.

The program began in 2006 and became a registered not-for-profit Ontario Corporation in January 2008. In 2008, the foundation also appointed James Kwon as head coordinator who brings a wide variety of coaching experience and leadership skills.
